It is with a heavy heart that we share that Gerry Bonetto passed away early the morning of January 21, 2022.
Gerry spent many years successfully helping our VMA members solve their sales tax, OSHA, and other governmental issues. Gerry was instrumental in getting the printed matter sales tax exemption law passed among his many accomplishments.
Over the summer he had a stem cell transplant as treatment for leukemia and had been fighting hard on his recovery. In the recent weeks, he was in and out of the hospital and last week was in CCU, and he had decided before to put a limit on the time and procedures to try. He fought cancer hard over the last several years and finally is at peace.
